OpenTech solutions are found throughout the mid-southwest and in your city. Below is a sampling of our satisfied customers.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport

This Houston-based hub is the ninth busiest airport in the United States for total passengers and the largest native BACnet airport installation in the world. The HVAC system communicates between all five terminal complexes and many out buildings over a high-speed, fiber optic Ethernet backbone, integrating manufacturers and protocols into one seamless open architecture. Using a common web based interface engineers and operators alike are able to manage the critical operations of this dynamic facility.

Southeastern Louisiana University

As the fastest growing Division I University in the country Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) demands real-time control of their buildings and energy consumption. OpenTech Louisiana provided just that tool. After evaluating several open protocol systems with OpenTech, the customer was able to select a Web-based BACnet system to take command of their comfort and energy issues. Today they enjoy the performance of a campus wide, fiber optic, IP Protocol building automation system that is easy to use and supported locally by OpenTech.

Montgomery Community College

Located in The Woodlands Texas, Montgomery Community College is one of five campuses in the North Harris-Montgomery Community College District to upgrade its building automation controls. With a new, district-wide Web-based interface in place, the College was the first community college in the area to convert to an open protocol standard. Today they enjoy improved building performance at a significantly reduced owning and operating cost.
